Southern Dalmatia includes the area of Makarska Riviera to the border with Montenegro, including the islands of Korcula, Mljet and Lastovo and the Peljesac peninsula. The center of this destination is Dubrovnik, a city-monument under UNESCO protection and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The climate is very pleasant, Mediterranean, to grow citrus plantations, palm trees and rich agave.
Enogastro offer of Peljesac Peninsula is very interesting because of the specific vineyard position (Dingač), an excellent wine and shellfish. There is regular ferry service from the peninsula to the island of Korcula, which is supposedly home of the famous seafarer Marco Polo. The island of Mljet, also a national park, is the greenest Adriatic island of outstanding natural beauty, rich flora and fauna and numerous historical monuments.
Numerous small islands in Dubrovnik waters constitutes Elaphite islands, and the largest are: Sipan, Lopud and Kolocep. Hidden coves, breathtaking caves, Mediterranean park full of citrus and carob trees, churches and monasteries and diverse flora and fauna attract those looking to relax and enjoy the environment without the traffic and stress.
